INJECTION INSTRUCTIONS:

 

1. Gather your supplies, such as semaglutide pen, alcohol swabs, and sharps container.

2. Clean the injection site with an alcohol swab and let it dry completely. You can inject into your abdomen, thigh, or upper arm, but change the site each week.

3. Remove the cap from the pen and check the medication for any discoloration or particles. Attach a new needle to the pen and dial the dose.

4. Pinch a fold of skin and inject the semaglutide into the fatty tissue beneath it. Press the dose button until it can’t be pushed further, then hold the button and count to 10 before withdrawing the needle.

5. Dispose of the needle in a sharp container/or empty bottle and put the cap back on the pen. Do not reuse the needle.
